Reminder: New Secure
Email Service Goes in Effect February 26
As we mentioned last week, we're implementing a new secure email
encryption service as of February 26. Effective Friday, March 5, you
will not be able to access any secure messages previously sent through the
SigabaTM Solution. In order to view any messages sent via Sigaba,
you will need to copy or save the contents of the email before March 5.

09-07—Annuity
Disclosure Signature Requirement (Life Products Bulletin)
The
state of Alaska has issued Bulletin B 09-07, reminding insurers to comply
with existing record retention requirements in relation to suitability
in annuity transactions and annuity disclosures. The new disclosure forms and
Buyer's Guide are currently available on TransACT®.

New CE Requirements in
Hawaii
Effective July 1, 2010, Hawaii will require 24 hours of continuing education
every two years, with three of those hours in either ethics or state
insurance laws. For assistance in meeting these continuing education
